“Oh yeah. I can carry everything except a tune.” Minoru laughed. “Once everything’s set up, I can kick back and listen to people who play the guitar really well.”
He looked over at the blue monster.
“Not to say you can’t learn to play guitar, if you really wanted to.”
He knew enough musicians. At least one of them would probably be willing to give Cookie a lesson or two.
Cookie just stared at Minoru with his large googly eyes confused. How would a monster learn such a complicated instrument? The triangle was easy but that was boring. A guitar made much better noises!
"Who teach? Min-oru know people who teach Cookie? Me wants to make noise. Lectric Gee-tar noise!"
This would no doubt aggravate Oscar who hated noise but he needed some fun music, right?
“His name’s Derek, but we all call him Rekker. He’s the lead singer and lead guitarist in a band I know. Next time I’m out helping the crew, I’ll ask him about lessons, okay?”
Minoru couldn’t make any promises, and didn’t want to make any that he might not be able to keep. But he’d definitely ask!
